Ever Feel Like You're Just Talking to Yourself?

I don't not about you other bloggers out there, but I often feel like I'm just talking to myself here on Rolling with the Moments. It's not really one of those blogs where people seem to like sharing their thoughts with me. They seem to just lurk there in cyberspace, reading but not putting their two cents in. I'm guessing this is probably you right now - no judgement! - but it'd be nice to see something come out the time I spend writing these things.

I mean, this is the internet! Usually, you can't do anything without someone ramming their opinion in your face!

When I get those little emails letting me know that a comment has miraculously appeared on my blog, I'm like, Sweet Jeebus! Someone loves me! Only to discover that it's just some spam. So I started thinking, maybe if ask question? Nope. Write something thought provoking? Nope. (I think I might have done something wrong with that one...)

So now I'm just hoping that some poor soul will take pity on little lonely blogger me, and leave me a comment...

I feel like a whiny little child complaining about this - but I guess there is no harm done really. It's like you lovelies will leave me a message saying as such. :)

PS. Please don't leave me if you're just a lurker! I love you, lovelies!

  2. I guess many of us who aren't the none plus ultra that every one knows and everyone stops by feels this way. I don't think I have EVER seen a post left un-commented over at nosegraze.com, but Ashley is kinda the Michelle Obama of the English Book Blogging world x)

So, we can all hope to be her, but barely any of us every will. But I think that's okay. You have to just know that there are at least some people out there who have come to love you although they never or barely breathe a word about it. I experienced that not too long ago, and it made me so happy! =)

Like right now. I don't think it's coincidence that I haven't been on here for a while and just now thought "Hey, I have to check up on her", and you have THIS kind of post up. Nope, I don't believe in these kind of coincidences! It was clearly fate so I can give you a big pep talk and somce comment love! =)

So, yes, keep at it! I may not be here often and I barely comment on anything because I'm either so spoilerphobic or because I haven't a cent to give not having read a certain book myself, but that doesn't mean much, since I have come to like you as a person, the bit I have come to know through your blogging. =)

Plus, I still believe that some day there will be this one blogging friend who I can perfectly relate to, stop by and comment basically everything, etc. And vice versa. Somewhere out there, you know. ^^

    1. Zessi, this has got to be both the nicest and longest (a whole 5 paragraphs!) comment that I have ever gotten! <3

Thank you so much for dropping by and talking to me! :D

  3. I just stumbled upon your blog via the blog hop and started following you through Bloglovin and after taking a look around, here I am, commenting away about nothing really. I am one of those lurkers but I like to come around show some love every now and then. You aren't alone. I am not a blogger but I understand the whole talking to yourself thing. I get that feeling just about every time I talk to my husband.

  4. Hey,

it is super lame that nobody comments on your blog posts, so rather than turning my head and talking to you, I will write you a COMMENT! You are pretty cool, even if you talk to yourself sometimes and use bizarre pronunciations for words and share embarrassing stories over the internet. When I get a blog, I will totally add you as my Blog Friend, and that will be super sweet bc we can talk about maths and books and gallant men that cover your farts for you. Thats all 4 now

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts!
